In a nutshell: born in Greece, living in London, on the right side of 30 (barely), investment banker turned interior designer and mummy to a gorgeous little Yorkie - Coco! With an interior designer uncle, a mum who spent half her life at auctions and a dad who imported stone from Libya and Pakistan, I guess it's no wonder that I acquired a passion for interiors. It's not until July 2007 though, after 6 long months of working hard in my day job then setting up the company at night, that I took the plunge, resigned from my job and Coco Målé was officially launched. I must admit, it's been quite a ride but I've never looked back and three years on, Coco Målé has grown into a great little company, attracting much praise from both our loyal customers and the press. We still mostly rely on word of mouth to get our name out there so it would really mean the world to us if you could recommend us to friends & family! I hope you enjoy our site. |

- We are a London based online boutique nearing our third birthday!
- We sell exclusively via mail order so have low overheads and can offer you great prices.
- Coco is Katie's gorgeous little Yorkie and Målé (pronounced maaleh) originates from the word "Mahaalay" in Sanskrit, meaning a palace!
- Coco Målé Interiors is a trading name of Coco Male Limited, a company registered in England. Company registration number: 0620 7701. VAT number: 929 9801 72.
OUR PRODUCTS
- Our collections are sourced from all over the world, from places afar such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Swaziland and Morocco to name a few.
- Our aim is to bridge the gap in interior design between countries, to create a fusion of styles that reflects today's globalised society and is testament to our travels. We refuse to be pigeon holed - whether ethnic, country or minimalistic, we welcome all styles and our products look equally beautiful in a city flat, a rural cottage or a Mykonian villa!
- Each and every item is handpicked by owner Katie for its gorgeousness, quality and individuality.
- We try to do our bit for the environment by stocking a wide range of eco-friendly products and recycling boxes and materials.
OUR SERVICE
- We are a small team so offer a personalised service and literally won't rest until you are 100% happy with your purchase and our service.
- In fact, our after sales service is second-to-none. We will even call you to ensure your order has arrived safely and that you are happy with it!
- Of course, we will occasionally make a mistake (we are human after all!) or an item might arrive damaged, but it's the way we deal with such errors that is important. Not only we'll send out a replacement the same day but we'll also pay for the damaged item to be returned back to us.
